Preserving the Land marks...the indestructible history of the martyrs... know where you came from!

Let's Continue to pass the Torch!
Pass the church heritage to the next generation...the preserved doctrines and practices from the Bible...

After Jesus Christ called John as the Baptist (Matt.11:11), as a religious title of the only person sent by God to prepare the way of the Lord and to baptized (John 1:6; Matt.11:10; Mal.3:1) , Jesus, the Christ, the great God (Heb. 1:1,8), the Savior, the only Founder from Galilee to Jordan seek the baptism of John as the only authorized by God to baptize that time (Matt.3:13-17), certified by God the Father and God the Holy Spirit after He was baptized commended by a voice and the dove. Jesus Christ personally in His ministry, called out (ekklesia, the meaning of the church) certain persons baptized by the baptist (Acts 1:21,22) to be trained as disciples and be ordained as apostles (Luke 6:13-16) to make a network of churches to fulfill His great commission worldwide.

He promised His church which He personally founded with blessings that in spite of persecutions, and much sufferings that even the gates of hell can't destroy her.

Mat 16:18  "...I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."
Mat 28:19-20  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

1Co 11:26  For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

(excerpt fro BAPTIST SUCCESSION R.Y. Blalock)

Now I want to give you three earthly witnesses, who were not Baptists, who will testify to the succession of Baptists from the days of the apostles.

     (1)   On Baptist Succession, Dr. Peck says, "Baptists in every age, from the apostles, remain true to the Kingdom which Christ came to establish."   (Religious, Denominations, Page 197)   (Quoted from Ray's History, page 447.)

     (2)   Alexander Campbell said, "The Baptist denomination in all ages, and in all countries has been, as a body, the constant asserter of the rights of man, and the liberty of conscience."   (Campbell on Baptism page 409)

     (3)   Drs. Ypeij and Dermont, Historians, speaking of Baptists said, "We have now seen that the Baptists, who were formerly called Anabaptists, and in later times Mennonites, were the original Waldenses, and who had long in the history of the church, received the honor of that origin.   On this account, the Baptists may be considered as the only Christian community, which has stood since the days of the apostles, and as a Christian society, which has preserved pure, the doctrines of the Gospel, through all ages."   (Christian's History, Page 95)

I could give many other witnesses who have testified to the succession of Baptists, but this is the Scriptural number to prove our case.   They are professed Christian Historians, and not members of the Baptist church.

(Excerpts from the Bridwell vs. Causey Debate pages 9-10.)

This church started by Jesus is a Baptist church and will take the Lord's supper to show His death till He comes. She will be here standing like a rock.

Then Hebrews 12:28, We having received a kingdom which cannot be moved. Now the all the devils in hell could not move her; she is to stand like a rock. Let us then trace her.

Link one:
All the churches in Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana came from the missionaries that established missions on the west bank of the Mississippi River by the First Baptist Church of Dyesburg, Tennessee. This church was organized by J.W. Jetter who came from the Philadelphia Association.

Link two:          Travel writer David Atkinson sitting in front of Bardsey Church
The Hill Cliff church of Wales, England sent H. Roller to the Philadelphia Association from the Hill Cliff church. (See minutes of Philadelphia Association, Book three, item one).

Link three:
The Hill Cliff church was organized by Aaron Arlington, A.D.987. (See Alex. Munston's Israel of the Alps.)

Link four:
The Lima Piedmont church ordained Arlington in A.D. 940. (See Jones' Church History, page  324.)

Link five
The Lima Piedmont church was organized by Balcolao in A.D. 812. (See Neander's Church History, Volume 2, page 320.)

Link six:
Balcolao came from the church at Timto, Asia Minor. See Neander's Church History, Volume 2 page 320.)

Link seven:
The Timto church was organized by Archer Flaven, A.D. 738. (See Mosheim's History, Volume 1, page 394.)

Link eight:
Archer Flavin came from the Darethea church, organized by Adromecus, A.D.671 in Asia Minor. See Lambert's Church History, page 47.)

Link nine:
Andronicus came from Pontifossi, at the foot of the Alps in France. (See Lambert's Church History, page 47.)

Link ten:
Pontifossi church was organized by Tellestman from Turan, Italy, A.D. 398. (See Nowlan's Church History, Volume 2, page 318.) I have now taken the Missionary Baptist Church beyond any other denomination except the Roman Catholic Church. Now let's go on to perfection.

Link eleven:            The First African Baptist Church
The Turan Church was organized by Tertullan from Bing Joy, Africa, A.D. 237. (See Armitage's Church History, page 182.) I have taken the Baptist church beyond anything on the face of the earth that claims to be Christian; but we are not through. Let's go on and on.

Link twelve:
Tertullan was a member of the Partus church at the foot of the Tiber, that was organized by Polycarp, A.D. 150. (See Cyrus' Commentary of antiquity, page 924.)

Link thirteen:
Polycarp was baptized by John the beloved, or Revelator, on the twenty-fifth day of December, A.D. 95. (See Neander's Church History, page 285.)

Link fourteen:
John was with Jesus on the Mount when He gave the first spiritual gift to the church, and was named one of the apostles. (See Mark 3:13-14; Luke 6:12-13.)
