ORIGINAL Song compositions

MY FAVORITE SONGS:

STARS IN HEAVEN
(Composed in IloiloMBIS, Iloilo City by John Brillantes (1987 )
As I see the stars in heaven
Twinkling in the skies
I have seen the beauty
That God has made for us.

As the night is getting darker,
But the light still shines
And the light gets even more even more brighter
Like the Son of God.

CHORUS:

You are a star in God’s creation my friend, you are important in God’s eyes
He died for you,
and set you free
Let His love be shown in you…

Don’t let sin destroy that light
That God has given you
Confess your sins to God
It will brighten your life.

Don’t be shy to share that light
To the sinful world
Lead them to Jesus Christ
Who is the true light
(Repeat Chorus)

MY BIBLE AND I
(Composed in Malvar boarding hauz, Davao by John Brillantes 1987)
We’ve traveled together, my Bible and I
Through all kinds of weather
With smile or with sigh
In sorrow or sunshine, In tempest or calm thy friendship unchanging my lamp and my Psalm.

We’ve traveled together, my Bible and I when life has grown weary and death e’en was nigh but all through the darkness of mist and of wrong I found thee a solace, a prayer or a song.

CHORUS:
And now my dear Bible reveal er of light thou sword of the spirit, put error to flight and still through life’s journey until the last sigh we’ll travel together, my Bible and I

So now who shall part us, my Bible and I shall ism or schism, or new lights who try, shall shadow for substance, or stone for good bread, supplant its sound wisdom, give folly instead
(Repeat chorus)

LIFE WITHOUT CHRIST
(Lyrics by Tina Quaizon & Melody by John Brillantes in Angeles City)
As I think how blessed I am
I can't imagine life without your loving hand
As I closed my eyes
And see the beauty in me.

Lord, what will my life be without you?
Knowing that I exist only for you
To think that my life is without a price,
Yet for my sins you sacrificed.

CHORUS:
My life would be a huge chunk of darkness
My soul would be a vast space of loneliness
Every success I owe it to thee,
Without you Lord, without you Lord,
This Life's a misery.

Please don't let me astray,
Because your presence is my only joy,
Everlasting life is being with you, I know,
So let me live the life that Jesus showed.
(Repeat Chorus)

CITY OF GOLD
(Composed in Vinzon, by John Brillantes)
Heaven is a place for people,
A people bound for glory;
As you can see the beauty,
Of that magnificent city.

Chorus:

City of Gold, City of gold
That is the home in glory,
City of gold, city of gold,
That is the place prepared for me.

Heaven is a great big city,
Where streets are made of gold,
You can't see a teardrop fallen,
A place that happy people live.
(Repeat chorus)

Christ is the stairway to heaven,
We need to repent and accept Him,
To be a part of the Kingdom,
A people bound for heaven.
(Repeat chorus)

HEED THE CALL
(Composed in DCMBC, Matina, Davao City by John Brillantes)

Intro: I surrender all chorus..

Look behind you who's there,
Look beside you who's there,
Do you know the people around you,
Maybe you don't know that they are living in sin,
And are bounded to hell.

Maybe you don't care, maybe you don't mind,
But it's time that you should realize,
That the duty to share the love of God,
Is in the people of God.

CHORUS:

God calls you, He calls you,
His work must be done;
He uses people like you to share the gospel to the lost...
Whoever you are, God calls you.

In the mountain, in the hills,
In the valleys and in the cities;
Millions of people go, millions of people die,
But do they know that they are saved?

Sa kacebuanohan, sa kailonggohan,
Bisag asang katawhan,
Ato gayong ipalapnag sa tanan,
Si Kristo ang kaluwasan.

(Repeat chorus)

Kapit bisig kaibigan tayo'y magtulungan,
Isigaw sa buong mundo,
Mula Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao,
Si Hesus ang kaluwasan.

(Chorus)

Whoever you are, God calls you...
Coda:

I surrender all, I surrender all,
All to thee my blessed Savior,
I surrender all...

What is DOCTRINE? Why others are allergic to teach it? Is it important and Biblical to teach and learn Doctrine?

DOCTRINE! IS IT IMPORTANT? Yes! Definitely! it has EFFECT on your WORSHIP! Mar 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. See! VAIN WORSHIP!!!! Why? B E C A U S E of Teaching the wrong doctrines! There is even DOCTRINE of the DEVIL!!! 1Ti 4:1-5 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Mat 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

God is not concern about your building, your number of members, your formality in worship, or your music, as long as it is decent and in order. He is more concerned that the RIGHT DOCTRINE is what is being preached and practiced in your church!

Therefore, worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth includes DOCTRINE!!!!

1Ti_3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Eph 3:21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen

IS GOOD WORKS IMPORTANT? WHY WE NEED TO LIVE A CLEAN LIFE?

In Salvation, we don't need our good works to save us. Eph 2:8-10: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Tit 3:5-7: Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Actually our best good works or righteousness is like a pus filled rag according to:Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. It is very clear that we can never save ourselves. Only Jesus can do it!!! You don't need to help Him. Just like a little child, be humble, accept your sinfullness,(Rom. 3:23) and accept and believe that you need to repent and trust Him alone to save you. After you received Him as savior,(John 1:12), you are now a CHILD of God. And a child of God is forgiven, washed clean, a new creature, a new beginning, so start living as holy because your father is holy. As we live in this dirty world, we may get dirty at times or stumble, but we need to stand up again, confess (1John 1:9) and we experience discipline from a loving, strict father, (Heb.12:5-9, Psalms 89:30-34) but His loving kindness, he will not take away instead hold us by the hand, (John 10:28-29, Eph.1:13) and keep our lives in His hands. Now, we have an obligation to our Holy Father, to live a clean, productive, abundant life through His guidance and care.

Why Do They
INSIST ON CLEAN LIVING?

Lesson Text: Galatians 5:22,-25.

Devotional Reading-Subject: Works of the Flesh, Galatians 5:17-21.

AIM: That pupil will learn to live for God.

HOME READING
Walk in the Spirit, Gal. 5:16, 25, 26.
Bear Burdens, Gal. 6:1-5.
Modest Apparel, 1 Tim. 2:9, 10.
Seek Higher Things, Col. 3:1-4.
Please God, 1 Thess. 4:1-7.
Separation Demanded, 2 Cor. 6:11-18.

1. Because the Fruit of the Spirit Is Clean.
The devotional reading for this lesson presents the works of the flesh (Gal. 5:19-21). Two things are clear in reading them. First, they are unclean. Second, they are not works which should characterize the lives of children of the kingdom of God.
On the other hand, the fruit of the Spirit is clean in every respect. Every believers who walk in the Spirit will manifest the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:25).
There are nine aspects to the fruit of the spirit. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” (Gal. 5:22, 23).
Love. God is Love, and His children should manifest His love in their lives (1 John 4:19).
Joy. There is a continuous joy for those who walk in the Spirit in fellowship with Christ (1 Thess. 5:16).
Peace. The believer’s peace passes all understanding, because he is at peace with God (Rom 5:1; Phil. 4:7).
Long-suffering. This is patient endurance, even under stress and mistreatment. It is a trait which God has, especially toward lost people (2 Peter 3:9).
Gentleness. This characteristic of Christ should be displayed by believers, especially toward other believers (Eph. 4:32).
Goodness. Moral worth is a vital part of the fruit of the Spirit (Rom. 15:14; Eph. 5:9).
Faith. This is confidence in, dependence on, and faithfulness to God and His cause (1 Cor. 15:58).
Meekness. A willingness to learn and to accept God’s will is always a good trait (Matt. 11:29).
Temperance. Self-control keeps a believer walking in the Spirit and denying the flesh its desires (1 Cor. 9:27).

2. Because Clean Living Glorifies the Lord.
1 Corinthians 10:31 is a good principle by which to live. “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” “Do all to the glory of God” should be a believer’s aim in life. That should govern what he eats, drinks, or whatever he does. There is nothing more important that “the glory of God”; consequently all saint should consider it constantly in everything they do.
The Bible doesn’t specifically deal with every problem confronted by God’s children today, but the principle of 1 Corinthians 10:31 does.
However, the Bible does deal with drinking and drunkenness (Prov. 20:1:31-35). No one can rightly claim to drink alcoholic beverages “to the glory of God.”
Some who profess to be believers frequent dance halls. Surely they would not claim such a base action is “to the glory of God.”
There is much said in the Scriptures about one’s speech. “Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man” (Col. 4:6). Yet much impurity comes from the lips of those who should be doing “all to the glory of God.”
Besides, the Lord gave His apostle “power against unclean spirits, to cast them out” (Matt. 10:1), That is an indication satanic forces are unclean, and the Lord’s work is clean. That is reason enough for Missionary Baptist to insist on clean living.
For Discussion. Could people possible believe in uncleanness glorifies God?

3. Because a Church Can Exclude Unclean Members.
Admittedly, fearing of understanding one can be excluded is not the highest motive for clean living. By the same token, it is a fact one should think twice about how he lives because of the fact the church could withdraw, fellowship from him. The Lord’s church should be so important to a person for him to value his privilege of membership so highly he would never want to place it in jeopardy.
Regardless, a church can exclude members for unclean living. 1 Corinthians 5:6-13 teaches that. The leaven of malice and wickedness should be purged from the membership. Otherwise, the whole church will be contaminated.

4. Because the Lord’s Church Needs To Be Clean.
Missionary Baptist should insist on clean living, because a church needs to be clean. Paul’s admonition in Romans 12:1 is not possible to heed without clean living. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
The figure Paul used to portray the relationship a church has to Christ is figure of purity. “For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ” (2 Cor. 11:2). That means a church should be clean.
Paul’s description of “a glorious church” in Ephesians 5:25-27 presents ample proof the Lord wants His churches to be clean.
Churches cannot be clean without members being clean; therefore members need to be clean. They need to “walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called” (Eph. 4:1). They need to beware of walking “as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind” (Eph. 4:17). They need to “walk as children of light” (Eph. 5:8). They need to be “holy in all manner of conversation” (1 Peter 1:15.)
After all believers should want to follow in the footsteps of their Savior. He is clean, Therefore, those believers who are members of His churches should put forth a special effort to live a clean life.

5. Because Believers Shall Answer to the Lord.
One big reason Missionary Baptist should insist on clean living is the fact each believer shall stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ. “… for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ” (Rom. 14:10). One feature of that judgment is to give a personal account of one’s self to God. “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God” (Rom. 14:12). The basis of the judgment will be what a person has done, depending on whether it was clean or unclean (good or bad). “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Cor. 5:10). That is a good reason for insisting on clean living.
The Lord will call into account even the idle words believers have spoken. “But I say unto, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment” (Matt. 12:36). Certainly that is true of the lost at the final judgment, but it is also true of believers at the Judgment Seat of Christ.
When one considers the alternative to clean living, he should realize it is better to insist on clean living. Anything less will not please the Lord. It will not influence the world for God. It will not satisfy the leadership of the Holy Spirit in one’s life.

Can a woman be ordained as a Pastor? Why Not?

Church policies and practices must conform to the Holy Word of God, not that we conform to the world and convenience or make our human created laws be followed by the churches of Christ. Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Mat 7:21- 23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. We have no right to teach and preach what the Bible has a clear instruction against it. 2Ti 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. In this age where churches, Pastors, are compromising the truth, of ordaining, assigning, women to lead their churches let's study this old lesson again and learn to obey:

Why Do They
REJECT WOMEN PREACHERS?

Lesson Text: 1 Timothy 3:2-5.

Devotional Reading-Subject: A Helper for Man, Genesis 2:18-24.

AIM: To answer the question: “Why don’t Baptist ordain women preachers?”

HOME READING
Subject to Husband, 1 Peter 3:1-7.
Glory to Men, 1 Cor. 11:3-7.
Husband of One Wife, Titus 1:5-9.
Ask Husband, 1 Cor. 14:34, 35.
Not to Usurp Authority, 1 Tim. 2:9-14.
Keepers at Home, Titus 2:3-5.

1. Because a Woman Cannot Be the Husband of One Wife.
This lesson must not be taken to mean women cannot serve the Lord. Actually, in some instances, women have been more active than men in today’s churches. This lesson is not an anti-women indictment. At the time, every Missionary Baptist should realize there is no scriptural basis whatever for ordaining women to the ministry, or to the office of deacon for that matter.
The lesson text reflects some of the qualifications a minister must have. 1 Timothy 3:2 specifically states a preacher “must be … the husband of one wife.” Those who seek to justify women preachers add, “or the wife of one husband.” However, the qualifications set down by the Apostle Paul make no allowance for adding a statement to the Scriptures.
In the book of Titus the apostle set forth the same qualification. “If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly” (Titus 1:6). Again there is no allowance made for women in the ministry.
Any attempt to ordain a woman is a clear violation of Bible teaching. Those who would blatantly violate the Scriptures are usually not interested in truth, but emotion. Women preachers do not have the support of God’s Word; therefore Missionary Baptist are wise to reject them.

2. Because a Woman Cannot Take the Oversight of a Church.
If a woman tries o pastor a church, she sets herself against the role of God declare she should have. “… and they desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee” (Gen. 3:16). To pastor a church would place her in a position of overseeing her husband and other in the church. That disrupts God’s order of the husband’s position in overseeing his wife.
Paul presented a divine order in 1 Corinthians 11:3, “But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.” To place a woman in the position as a pastor would make her a head over men, including her husband if he is a member.
Further, 1 Corinthians 11:7 states, “For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of the man.” What would having a woman pastor do that passage?
In 1 Corinthians 14 Paul treated the subject of tongues and prophesying. One of the restrictions he placed on them was forbidding women to do either. “Let your women keep silence in churches; for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thigh, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church” (1 Cor. 14:34, 35). With a woman preacher it is difficult for things to “be done decently and in order” (1 Cor. 14:40).

3 Because a Woman Should Not Usurp Authority Over Men.
The entire tone of 1 Timothy 2:9-14 teaches a woman should not take an aggressive place of authority over men. Verse 9 teaches a woman should be modest. Verse 11 teaches a woman should “learn in silence with all subjection.” Verse 12 clearly forbids a woman from usurping a man’s authority over the man, but to be in silence.” Some interpret the word “usurp” as taking by force; however it can mean simply taking possession of something without right. That is what a woman preacher does, because she has no right to be a preacher.
If a woman pastors her own husband, she requires him to submit to her, which overturns the clear teaching of Scripture. “Wives, submit yourself unto your own husbands. As unto the Lord” (Eph. 5:22). A woman preacher wrongfully changes her role toward her husband.
In type a woman preacher teaches Christ should be in subjection of His own church. “Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing” (Eph. 5:24. That is a usurpation of authority of the worst kind. A woman preacher clearly violates the command not “to usurp authority over the man.”

4. Because There Is No Example of a Woman Preacher In the Bible.
Some appeal to the case of Priscilla to prove a church may ordain women preacher (Acts 18:26). However, there is no indication whatever she was a preacher or ordained. She simply helped her husband to teach a misguided preacher by the name of Apollos.
Some use Phebe as an excuse to ordain women preachers (Rom. 16:1). They reason, “Phebe was an ordained deaconess, then a woman may be ordained as a preacher.” However, one has to stretch the Scriptures beyond the limit to prove Phebe was a deaconess or ordained. One could as easily prove Jesus Christ and Paul were ordained deacons.
Some say, “Well, I know of women preachers, whose ministries God has greatly blessed.” Such reasoning is farfetched. They reason success is the same as blessings, but success could be of the worldly kind without God’s blessings. Many ministries have appeared to have God’s blessing, but the success was actually a result of emotion, popularity, and the like.
In reality a woman preacher presents several problems. She has the difficulty winning her lost husband without being in subjection to him (1 Peter 3:1). As preachers, women have a problem with having “a meek and quite spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price” (1 Peter 3:4). They fail to follow the example of “the holy women” of days gone by (1 Peter 3:5). They have difficulty with their nature being “the weaker vessel” (1 Peter 3:7). Consequently, they could hinder their own prayers.
Why don’t Baptist ordain women preachers? They see the practice as a violation of the Scriptures.

WHY SHARE THE MESSAGE OF SALVATION?

Why share?
If you are a Christian, a believer, a person who experienced salvation, you should share it also to others. Don’t be selfish, what would you feel that you are in heaven, and your love-one is in hell. Can you imagine, you are in heaven with God and your father, mother, brother, sister is in hell. What if your close friend, classmate, work mate, room mate, play mate that you always  see and enjoy being with ends up in hell because you failed to share? Is your husband , wife, children, boy friend, girl friend going to heaven with you or also going to hell! So, it is your responsibility to share to your relatives, neighbors, friends and love-ones the way of salvation through Christ alone.
Salvation is a process that should be accomplished to be effective and ensure the ultimate result of going to heaven, sins forgiven, preserved, secured, justified, and whether you die or Christ will come again you will be with Him in glory.
In the simple process, there are four major participants:
First, the originator, creator and executor of Salvation, who is God: He loves mankind, send His only son and send the Holy Spirit to administer it.
Second, The Gift which is the event that Jesus Christ had done that consummate the plan to save man and is the ultimate way that nothing is lacking and nothing can be added to it. It is the perfect Gift: the sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Third, The Sinner, the object of Salvation, the object of God’s love and sacrifice. He must respond to the message, the gift by accepting it or by rejecting it.  His response will consummate the deal, the contract or eternal covenant with God.
Fourth, The Soul Winner, the person who share the message of Salvation, the person who pray for the salvation of others, the ambassador, to invite the sinner to be a citizen of heaven, the person who first experience salvation and shares it to others.
I will stress the importance of the rule of Christian as Soul Winner, in the process, we can see that the sharing of Salvation is crucial because “faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Rom 10:17)  “ ;“(Eph 1:13)  In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.

You should know  HOW to share and What to share. Study further and prepare by praying, training and start, the Holy Spirit will surely help you to do it. (2Ti 2:15)  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Just have the desire and the persistence to do it. JUST DO IT!

Who Should Do It?
1. Every True Church.
One sentence in the lesson text states, “And let him that heareth say, Come.” This statement is usually taken to mean every born again person should invite sinners to receive Christ. The inclination to tell others about the Lord is probably the first spiritual inclination a new believer has. Such an inclination should remain with that believer all of his life. “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:” (Colossians 2:6). Certainly every believer should seek to lead the lost to a saving knowledge of Christ Jesus.
The first sentence in the lesson text states, “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come.” As a preceding lesson indicates the power of the Spirit for evangelism is with the churches who have the authority for evangelism. Conspicuously, the Bible puts “The Spirit and the bride” together. That does not mean the Spirit never works outside a New Testament church (the bride), but it does teach God gave the Spirit of evangelism to empower His churches to fulfill His commission.
In the New Testament it is difficult to find commands to witness apart from those given to New Testament churches (Luke 24:46-48; Acts 1:8). Even the words of the lesson text  were originally given to John by the Lord for His churches. “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.” (Revelation 22:16).
Another interpretation of the lesson text views “the Spirit and the bride” and “him that heareth” inviting the Lord to return. There is much about the return of Christ in that chapter. However, such a desire is not removed from the spirit of evangelism. Those who truly yearn for the Lord’s return are going to be the most ardent personal workers. And, there lives will be clean to witness for Christ (1 John 3:3).

2. Every Member.
If every believer should witness for Christ, certainly every member of every church of the Lord should. This is the only way a church can really witness. This was the practice of the churches of the New Testament. “Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.” (Acts 8:4).  The apostles remained in Jerusalem (Acts 8:1), but other members of the first church carried the Gospel everywhere..
Every Pastor. The pastor must be a witness for Christ. God does not expect the pastor to do all the personal work, but if he isn’t evangelistic, the church he pastors will not be. The pastor has a duty to set the example by being evangelistic in his preaching, teaching, and visitation. Since he is the overseer of the flock and since evangelism is the work of the flock, he is to direct or oversee the members as they do personal work (Acts 20:28).
Some pastors have so many responsibilities, they have little time or energy to devote to prayer, Bible Study, and meditation; consequently they have very little time to devote to personal evangelism. Churches and the pastor should avoid his becoming so loaded down (Acts 6:2-4).
Every Deacon. Some say the work of a pastor is to see after the spiritual things of a church, and the work of a deacon is to see the material things of a church.
It is this writer’s considered opinion that God expects every member, the deacon included, to see after the spiritual things first. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33). Material matters are secondary. The qualifications for deacons indicate they should be men of spiritual maturity. “Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.” (1 Timothy 3:9). Those who “used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 3:13). A person who is not interested in evangelism is certainly not deacon material.
Every Officer and Teacher. There are many who serve God in places of leadership through the local church organizations. With the cooperation of these the pastor can expand his ministry many times over. Without their cooperation his load is greater. Moreover, in seeking qualified workers, a church should seek out those who are doctrinally sound, spiritually dedicated, and evangelistically soul-minded. Alas, alas, this has long been a difficult task! “Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;  Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:37, 38). Prayer for more qualified workers is always in order as ordered by our Lord.
Every Parent. Parents must not overlook the obligation and the opportunity to be a witness for Christ to their children. Too many take the position of not wanting to leave the impression they are exerting an influence on their children. Some children have gotten to their teens, and their parents have said, “I haven’t said anything to my child about Christ.”
If the parents do not exert their influence in spiritual matters, the world will in unspiritual matters. Timothy’s mother and grandmother were great influence on his spiritual well-being (2 Timothy 1:5; 3:15). A parent is derelict of his duty if he neglects to be a personal witness to his own children.

3. Qualifications.
There are five personal requirements for a personal soul-winner. First, he must have a personal assurance of salvation. If he is not saved, it will be difficult for him to point others to Christ. Second, he must have a personal consciousness that people are lost (Romans 3:23). Otherwise, he would see no need to witness. Third, he must have faith in Christ as the only Saviour. Only Christ has shed His blood to atone for sin (1 John 1:7). The personal worker must believe is this explicitly, or else he is working for Satan. Fourth, he must have a personal practice of public and private prayer. Without an active prayer life the personal worker is defeated before he begins. With prayer he is ready to witness to the lost (Matthew 7:7-11). Fifth, he must have a personal dependence on the Holy Spirit for results. By the Spirit God convicts sinners and draws them to Christ (John 6:44; 16:8-11). The soul-winner can do nothing without God’s help (John 15:5); therefore he must rely on God’s Spirit to give results.
There are three personal characteristics which each soul-winner must possess. First, he must have a personal compassion for the lost. All the personal requirements will not reach one lost soul if the personal worker has no concern for the lost. The example of the Lord indicates this (Matthew 9:36). Second, he must have a personal knowledge of the Bible. The soul-winner must have confidence in the Word of God. The Word is what God uses in conviction spirit of faithfulness. “Quitter never win, and winner never quit” is a good slogan for personal worker. “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9).

Maybe this is your Life after you died! By Jim Barker Through Gerry Calba

After living what I felt was a 'decent' life, my time on earth came to the end.

The first thing I remember is sitting on a bench in the waiting
room of what I thought to be a court house.

The doors opened and I was instructed to come in and have a seat
by the defense table.

As I looked around I saw the 'prosecutor.'

He was a villainous looking gent who snarled as he stared at me.

He definitely was the most evil person I have ever seen.

I sat down and looked to my left and there sat My Attorney,
a kind and gentle looking man whose appearance seemed so familiar to
me, I felt I knew Him.

The corner door flew open and there appeared the Judge in full
flowing robes.

He commanded an awesome presence as He moved across the room I
couldn't take my eyes off of Him.

As He took His seat behind the bench, He said, 'Let us begin.'

The prosecutor rose and said,

'My name is Satan and I am here to show you why this woman
belongs in hell.'

He proceeded to tell of lies that I told, things that I stole,
and In the past when I cheated others Satan told of other horrible
Perversions that were once in my life and the more he spoke, the
further
down in my seat I sank.

I was so embarrassed that I couldn't look at anyone, even my own
Attorney, as the Devil told of sins that even I had completely
forgotten
about.

As upset as I was at Satan for telling all these things about
me, I was equally upset at My Attorney who sat there silently not
Offering any form of defense at all.

I know I had been guilty of those things, but I had done some
good in my life - couldn't that at least equal out part of the harm
I'd
done?

Satan finished with a fury and said, 'This woman belongs in hell,
she is guilty of all that I have charged and there is not a person
who
can prove otherwise.'

When it was His turn, My Attorney first asked if He might
approach the bench.

The Judge allowed this over the strong objection of Satan,
and beckoned Him to come forward.

As He got up and started walking, I was able to see Him in
His full splendor and majesty.

I realized why He seemed so familiar; this was Jesus
representing me, my Lord and my Savior.

!
He stopped at the bench and softly said to the Judge, 'Hi,
Dad,' and then He turned to address the court.

'Satan was correct in saying that this woman had sinned,
I won't deny any of these allegations.

And, yes, the wage of sin is death, and this woman deserves to be
punished.'

Jesus took a deep breath and turned to His Father with
outstretched arms and proclaimed, 'However, I died on the cross so
that
this person might have eternal life and she has accepted Me as her
Savior, so she is Mine.'

My Lord continued with, 'Her name is written in the Book of Life,
and no one can snatch her from Me.

Satan still does not understand yet.
This woman is not to be given justice, but rather mercy.'

As Jesus sat down,

He quietly paused, looked at His Father and said,
'There is nothing else that needs to be done.'

'I've done it all.'

The Judge lifted His mighty hand and slammed the gavel down.
The following words bellowed from His lips..

'This woman is free.'

The penalty for her has already been paid in full.

'Case dismissed.'

As my Lord led me away, I could hear Satan ranting and raving,
'I won't give up, I will win the next one.' I asked Jesus as He gave
me
my instructions where to go next, 'Have you ever lost a case?'

Christ lovingly smiled and said,

'Everyone that has come to Me and asked Me to represent them
has received the same verdict as you,

~Paid In Full~

If you do not pass this along to 15 people immediately,
absolutely nothing will happen.

Passing this on to anyone you consider a friend,
(as I have done here), will bless you both.

'Stop telling God how big your storm is.
Instead, tell the storm how big your God is!'

Mans' Only Hope!!! To die SAVED!

Regardless of the health you have now, or the financial status you are in, or the younger age we belong, Mr. Death is lurking through the pollution in air, water, sound, food, actually the basic needs that we think should maintain our life have contamination, or anything that is GOOD could be BAD if excessive or abused, even the MEDICINE we take have side effects that may complicate with other organs or systems in our body. The psychological stress that we experience daily and the emotional stress that we don't control is a menace to our dearest health and life we possess, oh no we borrow from God our creator.
A little young boy asked his father, "When do we die?", His father answered: "Have you visited the graveyard son?, What have you observed there?" The son replied:"There are Big, Small, Medium caskets." THIS IS NOT TO SCARE US! We need to face the fact that no one is invincible against Mr.Death. JESUS CHRIST ALONE HAS THE ANSWER! THE ONLY HOPE!

HOW????

Very SIMPLE, that many have fallen because they can not believe that simple. They THINK it is too good to be TRUE. Mr. Satan deceives us by telling us don't believe that SALVATION is very simple it is complicated and hard because that is going to your utmost desire of going to HEAVEN to GOD, then that simple? HA! HA! HA!

Why so SIMPLE?

1.Because Jesus Christ wants everybody to be saved. A small boy and girl, poor uneducated man and woman that can not read or write but can hear, sinner to the max., rich, highly educated that can not accept
simple things because of pride. Jesus wants them get saved. 2Pe 3:9  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 1Ti 2:4  Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
2. It's simple because JESUS CHRIST have paid it in FULL! You don't need to ADD anything to the gift that was wrapped and sealed when He said "It is finished!" You must only receive it, believe it, trust it that He ALONE have done everything to SAVE YOU!
Rom 6:23  For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Eph 2:8-9  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of GodNot of works, lest any man should boast.
3. It is simple, so that no man will be hopeless and say God did not love or cared for him that he has no chance to be saved. Jn 2:2  And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world.

Want to know more?
1. Who suffered for our sins? I Pet. 3:18.

14. Is salvation produced party by grace and partly by works? Rom. 11:6.
15. Is salvation obtained as a result of works on our part? Rom. 4:3-6.

HOW TO BE SAVED? HOW?

God's FREE Gift

Heaven or Hell?
Where would you go if you died today? Most people believe they would go to Heaven. But how can you be sure? Many people think they will go to Heaven because of their religion, heritage, upbringing, social status, or simply because they are a better than average person. However, the Bible is very clear on this subject. If you're not absolutely sure you are headed to Heaven, please take a serious look at the following and you' will see for yourself, that you really can be sure you're headed to Heaven.

Joh 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Does God want you in Heaven?

Absolutely. If he didn't, would he have sent his only son (Jesus Christ) to be persecuted and to die on the cross for you?

The first thing you must do is to realize you are a sinner. For some of us this is very easy. For others, we struggle with this fact as we don't see ourselves as a "bad person". But the fact of the matter is we are all sinners, whether we consider ourselves a good person or a bad person.

Rom 3:23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rom 6:23  For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So we have established the fact that we are all sinners, we all die, and that God has provided us with the free gift of eternal life - so now what? Well, we must accept the gift by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. As you read this bible verse, please note there is no mention of any type of religious ceremony, Church member-ship, or anything else -- all that's necessary is believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Act 16:30  And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Act 16:31  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Admittedly, simply believing on the Lord Jesus Christ sounds too good to be true. But the Bible is very clear that by grace we are saved through faith. In other words, you can not earn your way into Heaven. No amount of good deeds, good works, religion, or simply being better than the average person is going to get you saved (into Heaven). You must accept Gods free gift.

Eph 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
Eph 2:9  Not of works, lest any man should boast.

So how do you accept God's free gift? Read Romans chapter 10, verse 9. It just can't be made any more plain than this.

Rom 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Many people believe that they are a sinner, they are going to die, and that God has provided an opportunity to get people to Heaven. But many people also believe they have sinned too much or there is no room in Heaven for them. Romans chapter 10, verse 13 dispels this by spelling out each of our names as "whosoever". There are no strings attached, minimum qualifications, or other such nonsense. We can all be a "whosoever".

Once you have called upon the name of the Lord to be saved, you are guaranteed eternal life with Him.

Joh 10:27  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Joh 10:28  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my

Many people realize they are sinners, they are going to die, that God sent his only Son to die on the cross for our sins, and that they must accept God's free gift of eternal security and salvation. However, they wait to accept the free gift. Why? If you're not saved, or if you're not 100% sure you will be going to Heaven when you die, what are you waiting for? You never know what's going to happen to you in this uncertain world.

2Co 6:2  (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now [is] the accepted time; behold, now [is] the day of salvation.)

If you're not save, or if you're not 100% sure you're headed to Heaven when you die, wont you please listen to your heart? I believe there is a reason you've been reading this. God is standing at the door of your heart and asking you to open the door and let him in.

Rev 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Are you ready to accept God's free gift now?

If so, simply go to him in prayer and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart. Admit you are a sinner and acknowledge that you know Jesus died on the cross for your sins. Acknowledge you know there is no other way to get to Heaven than to accept God's free gift and you totally trust in the finished work of his son, Jesus Christ. Once you have done this, you will be saved.

So now what?

God has many Blessings in store for you. Once you have accepted God's free gift, you can be assured you will spend eternity in Heaven. This is the greatest Blessing you will ever receive. However, to better understand all of God's Blessings, you should read His Words daily in the Bible.  join a good Bible Believing Missionary Baptist Church where you can learn and grow in the Christian Faith, surround yourself with other believers, and be sure to share your new found knowledge with others.

God Bless You.

Eternal Preservation

Eternal Preservation is an interesting topic because it shows us to what extent does our loving Father and God would do to His adopted son (Mark 1:15;John 1:12: those who repented of their sins and by faith, trust Jesus as their only savior and by prayer, accepted Christ in their heart and life)

You can study the Bible and see for yourself what is in store for you. Be assured of God's eternal love and it is cool that you know you are saved eternally.

Eternal Preservation

WHAT DOES THE NATURE OF OUR NEW LIFE IN CHRIST  AFFECT OUR ETERNAL LIFE?

NO (FUTURE)CONDEMNATION
Joh 5:24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall _____________________.

Joh 3:18  He that believeth on him is_______________: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Rom 8:1  [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

SINS FORGIVEN AND FORGOTTEN

Psa 85:2  Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

(Psa 103:12)  As far as the east is from the west, [so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Num 14:18  The LORD [is] longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression,

Psa 32:1  <[A Psalm] of David, Maschil.> Blessed [is he whose] transgression [is] forgiven, [whose] sin [is] covered

Isa 43:25  I, [even] I, [am] he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

Psa 32:2  Blessed [is] the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit [there is] no guile.

SPIRIT HAS LIFE ETERNAL (NO ENDING), BODY REDEEMED DURING RESURRECTION

Mat 25:46  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Joh 5:39  Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Joh 10:28  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.

Joh 17:3  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Rom 6:23  For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Tit 1:2  In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

Tit 3:7  That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

1Jo 1:2  (For the life was manifested, and we have seen [it], and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

1Jo 2:25  And this is the promise that he hath promised us, [even] eternal life.

1Jo 5:11  And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Jo 5:13  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

1Jo 5:20  And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

DWELT AND SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

Eze 36:26  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Eze 36:27  And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do [them].

Luk 11:13  If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Rom 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Rom 8:11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Rom 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Rom 8:15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Rom 8:16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

1Co 6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

1Co 6:20  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Eph 1:13  In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Eph 4:30  And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

THE SPIRIT OF MAN WAS BORN AGAIN OF GOD DURING RECEIVING OF CHRIST

Joh 1:12  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

Joh 1:13  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Joh 3:3  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Joh 3:6  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

1Jo 3:9  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1Jo 4:7  Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1Jo 5:18  We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

1Jo 5:4  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.

Rom 8:16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

THE PROTECTING POWER OF GOD

(Joh 6:39)  And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

(Joh 6:40)  And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Joh 10:28  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.
Joh 10:29  My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Father's hand.
