DOCTRINE! IS IT IMPORTANT? Yes! Definitely! it has EFFECT on your WORSHIP! Mar 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. See! VAIN WORSHIP!!!! Why? B E C A U S E of Teaching the wrong doctrines! There is even DOCTRINE of the DEVIL!!! 1Ti 4:1-5 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
Mat 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
God is not concern about your building, your number of members, your formality in worship, or your music, as long as it is decent and in order. He is more concerned that the RIGHT DOCTRINE is what is being preached and practiced in your church!
Therefore, worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth includes DOCTRINE!!!!
1Ti_3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
