🕊️ 1. The New Testament Church is the Pillar and Ground of the Truth
> 1 Timothy 3:15 (KJB) – “...the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.”
Christ founded His church (Matthew 16:18), not man. It is through His church that truth is preserved, preached, and practiced. Therefore, to seek doctrinal instruction from false or man-made churches—those that deny the true doctrines of Scripture—is to undermine Christ’s authority and the divine role of His church.
⚖️ 2. It Is Indeed an Insult to the True Church
Studying, imitating, or accepting doctrines and methods from religious systems not founded by Christ (such as Universalists, Holy Rollers, Calvinists, Arminianism, New lightism, Hyperdispensationalism, anti-montanism, or denominations that sprang from it) implies that the Bride of Christ is insufficient in truth and wisdom. That is an insult to the Head of the Church, Jesus Christ Himself.
> Ephesians 3:21 – “Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.”
Ephesians 5:25-27 – “...Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it… That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”
Christ receives glory in His church, not in false systems or heretical organizations.
🚫 3. We Are Commanded Not to Endorse or Fellowship with False Teachers
> 2 John 9–11 – “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God… If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”
To study under, endorse, or promote false doctrine is to share in its error. The Bible calls this “being partaker of their evil deeds.”
> Romans 16:17 – “Mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.”
Separation from false teachers and their institutions is not pride—it is obedience to protect the purity of truth.
📖 4. The Holy Spirit Is Our Teacher
> John 14:26 – “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost… shall teach you all things.”
John 16:13 – “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth…”
The Holy Spirit works through the Word and through the true New Testament Church, not through human-made religions or ecumenical alliances. To sit under false instruction is to risk grieving the Spirit and being deceived.
⚔️ 5. Vain Worship and Iniquity
> Matthew 15:9 – “But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”
Matthew 7:21–23 – “...depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
Christ warned that worship and ministry founded upon man’s traditions rather than His commands are vain and filled with iniquity. The New Testament church must therefore guard its doctrine, methods, and practices from contamination.
